Chairman of the People's Committee of Ben Tre Province Tran Ngoc Tam met and worked with The Green Solutions Group Joint Stock Company and GEAPP Organization

    On July 23, 2024, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ben Tre Province, Tran Ngoc Tam, along with leaders of provincial departments and agencies, held a meeting with The Green Solutions Group Joint Stock Company and the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) to discuss opportunities and prospects for energy transition and green growth in the local area.

    Chairman Tran Ngoc Tam met with The Green Solutions Group Joint Stock Company and GEAPP. Chairman Tran Ngoc Tam presented a souvenir gift to Ms. Sunita Dubey.

    During the meeting, provincial departments and agencies shared information about projects related to green economic models, renewable energy projects in the province, and the agricultural sector's efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. GEAPP is a charitable nonprofit organization that pursues the mission of promoting a fair energy transition in emerging economies.

    Ms. Sunita Dubey, Chief Representative of GEAPP in Vietnam, stated that GEAPP collaborates with many central ministries and agencies to propose suitable priorities to expand green energy models, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and move towards a green economy. The green hydrogen production project by The Green Solutions Group Joint Stock Company is one of the areas of interest for GEAPP because it can create many "green" jobs.

    Chairman Tran Ngoc Tam expressed his pleasure in meeting and working with GEAPP. Ben Tre is striving to achieve Net Zero emissions, transitioning to green and sustainable energy with various wind power models and green hydrogen projects. At the same time, the province hopes GEAPP will share and provide more support to help the province realize its green growth goals in line with global trends in the coming time.
