On March 25, 2025, PVFCCo - Dam Phu My and The Green Solutions Group held a working session at TGS's office in Ho Chi Minh City to discuss potential cooperation in the field of green energy transition, particularly in solutions related to hydrogen and green ammonia - two green products that many countries are focusing on in their energy transition strategies.
Amidst the increasingly limited domestic natural gas supply, PVFCCo - Dam Phu My is proactively seeking alternative solutions to maintain stable production and ensure long-term competitiveness. During the meeting, company representatives shared that they are researching various advanced technological solutions, including the application of renewable energy and the search for new, more suitable raw material sources for the future.
Leveraging its expertise in developing clean energy projects, TGS introduced a model for producing hydrogen and green ammonia from renewable energy sources and proposed a collaboration to develop a green ammonia project for Dam Phu My to manufacture eco-friendly fertilizers and chemicals. Both parties also agreed to jointly assess the technical and operational aspects of the existing system as a basis for implementing the next steps if conditions are favorable.
This meeting is part of PVFCCo - Phu My efforts to adapt to changes in the energy market while demonstrating its long-term commitment to sustainable development and reducing dependence on traditional fuel sources. On the other hand, The Green Solutions reaffirmed its desire to partner with pioneering companies like Dam Phu My in building a clean energy value chain, working towards a low-emission future, and committing to achieving Net-zero and sustainability goals for industries in Vietnam.
