On June 04, 2025, TGS Group and Nghi Son 2 Power LLC Sign MoU on Green Ammonia Supply for Power Generation.
In a strategic move supporting Vietnam’s energy transition, TGS Group Corporation (TGS) and Nghi Son 2 Power LLC (NS2PC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on the potential use of green ammonia in thermal power generation.
The MoU was signed by Ms. Winnie Huynh, Founder & CEO of TGS, and Mr. Choi Chung Kook, President & CEO of NS2PC. The agreement signals a strong commitment by both parties to explore sustainable fuel alternatives and contribute to Vietnam’s decarbonization roadmap.
Through this partnership, TGS and NS2PC will assess the feasibility of integrating green ammonia into power plant operations, combining TGS’s upcoming production capabilities with NS2PC’s experience in large-scale power generation.
This collaboration aligns with Vietnam’s National Energy Master Plan and its ambition to reach net-zero emissions by 2050, while further positioning TGS as a regional leader in the green hydrogen and ammonia value chain.
